After studying chemistry at Exeter I moved to London, and promptly started work in Hertfordshire. (Great minds have spotted a small commuting flaw in this otherwise brilliant plan). Science did however teach me the value of good admin skills - it’s amazing how motivating it is to know that incorrect filing can actually lead to explosions!
My previous position was as Resource administrator to the Head of Production at Imagination. The fast-paced recruitment environment led me to a better understanding of the agency market, and also deepened my involvement in the digital field.
I’m very excited to be onboard at Roome as the new administrator. I have a passion for finding ways to take the paperwork away from recruiters, so that they have more time to spend finding great roles for people!
Another quality which has already been noted in the office is my ability to eat truly ridiculous amounts of sugar, and I can be relied upon to have a quantity of cake nearby at any given moment.
