Eleanor from Roome will be overseeing the “graduate wheel of fortune” and working with the audience and speakers in chairing questions and putting in her ten pence piece in too

What is London Digital Week???????????? Well its a week of conferences, workshops, networking, awards and exhibitions bringing together the digital industries in and around London.

Hello Cookie here, I occasionally post the odd thing to Roome’s blog, and today is one of those days. After searching the internets for a decent invoice template the other day, I only found garbage. So I decided to make a really nice looking one and throw it out there, might be of use to someone.

It’s probably only really suited to designer/illustrator types, as it’s a Photoshop file. Download it here. All the coloured shapes are just masked off flat colours so it should be pretty simple to change the colour scheme, stick a you’re own logo in etc. All the text is editable, although if you don’t want to change the fonts, you’ll need Knockout, Phaeton & Numbers Indicia.

Feel free to do with it what you will.

Hopefully some of you will already have signed up to come along to the 11^th Glug, happening this Thursday 25^th June from 6pm at The Queen of Hoxton. Roome Consulting are very happy to be sponsoring the event by way of bangers and other fine fodder for the BBQ on the roof, and we hope there will be even more random chat and merriment than ever. To add to the fun the Glug boys have invited eight illustrators who’ll be working on the stairwell and roof creating bespoke t-shirts, so bring along a blank to get some free original art-T’s to take home. With that and the special Glug punch on offer, it’s shaping up to be a pretty special evening…

On the same day as the boat race (29th March) London’s going to host a new event - The Oxford & Cambridge Goat Race When Roome chums - Ant, Simeon & Anne told me their idea, I said where the hell are you going to get the goats from?!? Well luckily the nice folks at Spitalfields City Farm (just off Brick Lane) don’t mind them racing a couple of theirs around a field. In return the £3 admission fee will be going toward the up keep of their urban farm project.

THE EVENT:
2 actual real live goats, one representing Oxford and one representing Cambridge, race a tough, meandering course lined with cheering spectators. Then on to the pub for cheap or possibly free (trying to sort out a booze deal now) drinks and music.

You post your work and they beautifully put it together.

Last night the Roome Consulting massive made haste to the ‘big Christmas Glug’ at the Bodhi Gallery on Brick Lane. Thanks to Nick Clement and co for such a marvellous party and big congratulations to Paul Rayment who fought off stiff competition to win the ‘All I Want For Christmas Is…’ competition. Thanks to our great designer Cookie our site has gone a little CHRISMAS-EE as too has our office, christmas stockings everywhere
