Exceptional speakers including Nik from POKE, Jay from ex Brooklyn Brothers and other great voices of the industry. Its ramping up to be a wonderful event, really inspirational and hopefully the first of many to come

Eleanor from Roome will be overseeing the “graduate wheel of fortune” and working with the audience and speakers in chairing questions and putting in her ten pence piece in too

End the Brutal Killing of More Than 20,000 Dolphins Every Year in Japan 

I tend to be a secret squirrel when it comes to the charities and motions that we support here but after seeing the film The Cove on Friday night I had to blog about it.

Having lived in Japan and being a passionate diver I had to go and see the movie when it premiered on Friday, and nothing could have prepared me.

Its not a film for the faint of heart but it’s a film that if you care about the oceans and animals that live in it, you have to see.

This is a documentary revealing the slaughtering of dolphins in a small coastal town in Japan.

Please take some time to go and see the film or support the movement to stop the killing.

With our friends working their digital socks off all year to make London Digital Week fabulous , its now here…… Think we were only meant to have one badge but couldnt decide what colour to go for.

What is London Digital Week???????????? Well its a week of conferences, workshops, networking, awards and exhibitions bringing together the digital industries in and around London.

Fun mixed with learning and exploring and the odd sherry……..

Two of our very dear friends Melissa McVeigh and Kathrin Burkhardt will be speaking at this weeks SHE SAYS  . expected to be very very interesting

Hopefully some of you will already have signed up to come along to the 11^th Glug, happening this Thursday 25^th June from 6pm at The Queen of Hoxton. Roome Consulting are very happy to be sponsoring the event by way of bangers and other fine fodder for the BBQ on the roof, and we hope there will be even more random chat and merriment than ever. On the same day as the boat race (29th March) London’s going to host a new event - The Oxford & Cambridge Goat Race When Roome chums - Ant, Simeon & Anne told me their idea, I said where the hell are you going to get the goats from?!? Well luckily the nice folks at Spitalfields City Farm (just off Brick Lane) don’t mind them racing a couple of theirs around a field. In return the £3 admission fee will be going toward the up keep of their urban farm project.

THE EVENT:
2 actual real live goats, one representing Oxford and one representing Cambridge, race a tough, meandering course lined with cheering spectators. Then on to the pub for cheap or possibly free (trying to sort out a booze deal now) drinks and music.

Is it just me but did the latest research reported by NMA that 1 in 7 people are spending up to 5 hours , FIVE HOURS , on social networks seem like a rather long time
