After studying Design at University, I arrived in London in the late 1990s. I got a job manning the front desk for Tomato and Antirom, then worked my way up within tomato to become a Project Manager, working mostly with tomato interactive. After a good few years working on some great projects I left to work for Poke.
Poke were then a small company and needed a ‘mum’ to help organise them and their team. My role was a mix of Studio & Project Management. After my daughter was born I went back part-time and worked with a couple of my old clients and took over the Poke side of accounts, helping the MD run things day to day.
In 2007 I very reluctantly left Poke and drove up the A1, back to Yorkshire. I’ve since had a little boy and thanks to the joys of working remotely, am able to work for Roome. I keep the books ship shape and the money flowing in from clients and out to candidates!
